Tens of thousands of businesses, organizations, utilities, and state and local governments have partnered with the ENERGY STAR program to reduce energy use. These organizations volunteer to help EPA identify and address the specific market barriers that prevent progress. In exchange, EPA provides the information and stability that private markets need to thrive.
The environmental impacts are staggering, and a testament to the power of partnership: The avoidance of billions of metric tons of emissions, billions of dollars of private sector investment, more than half a trillion dollars in cost savings, and millions of high-paying, fast-growing jobs.

When you join ENERGY STAR as a partner, you make a public commitment to help reduce emissions through energy efficiency. You also join thousands of like-minded leaders who understand the importance of improving energy performance.
There’s no cost to partner with EPA or use ENERGY STAR promotional materials. Once you’ve joined, you’ll be listed in the ENERGY STAR online partner directory and have access to ENERGY STAR partnership logos to help you spread the word about your commitment. As you reach milestones and demonstrate results, you may become eligible for various EPA recognition opportunities, including the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award.
