Our Partners

As a voluntary partnership program, ENERGY STAR works in collaboration with the private sector to advance energy efficiency. Tens of thousands of businesses, organizations, utilities, and state and local governments have partnered with the ENERGY STAR program to reduce energy use. These organizations volunteer to help EPA identify and address the specific market barriers that prevent progress. In exchange, EPA provides the information and stability that private markets need to thrive.

The environmental impacts are staggering, and a testament to the power of partnership: The avoidance of billions of metric tons of emissions, billions of dollars of private sector investment, more than half a trillion dollars in cost savings, and millions of high-paying, fast-growing jobs.
