Commercial Steam Cooker Component Inspection

In consultation with stakeholders, EPA developed an option for verifying ENERGY STAR commercial steam cookers via component inspection. This process was finalized on December 18, 2017 with the release of Directive 2017-01: Component Inspection of ENERGY STAR® Certified Steam Cookers. Materials related to the exploration and development of this verification option are provided below. Partners and other interested parties with questions or concerns regarding these materials or the assessment process can contact Kathleen Vokes, EPA, at Vokes.Kathleen@epa.gov or Brian Krausz, EPA, at Krausz.Brian@epa.gov.
