The Sponsors of Mass Save logo

The Sponsors of Mass Save is a collaboration of gas and electric utilities in Massachusetts. The collaborative strategically leveraged the ENERGY STAR® brand in consumer education and awareness campaigns resulting in rebates for more than 29,000 ENERGY STAR certified products. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

  • Partnering with retailers to offer incentives on a wide range of ENERGY STAR certified products, including windows, heat pump water heaters, dryers, small appliances, and smart thermostats.
  • Launching a new partnership with local communities and retailers to hold more than 60 dehumidifier turn-in events, which led to the recycling of more than 4,500 units and the purchase of nearly 3,800 ENERGY STAR certified dehumidifiers.
  • Advancing consumer awareness of ENERGY STAR certified products through email, point-of-purchase promotion, and paid media, resulting in more than 6 million consumer impressions.
In 2020 ENERGY STAR and its partners helped Americans avoid more than $40 Billion in energy costs
