  • Achieving ENERGY STAR certification for four properties, including two certified for the first time.
  • Allocating $5.7 million to an efficiency projects fund for eight large projects, including at two Hawaiian properties that represent 21% of Park Hotel’s greenhouse gas emissions, for an estimated annual savings of $6 million and 24% lower energy use.
  • Conducting energy audits across 20 properties.
  • Recognizing the energy management achievements of employees and hotels in monthly newsletters, including ENERGY STAR content.
  • Issuing press releases announcing its Corporate Responsibility Report, ENERGY STAR certifications, and 2023 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year award.
  • Co-branding ENERGY STAR’s Energy and Water Efficiency Checklist for Hotels, Motels, and Inns, and working with ENERGY STAR to develop a case study.
