New Tradition Homes, a regional home builder, constructed nearly 200 ENERGY STAR® certified homes in 2023, for a total of 3,200 since joining the program in 2004. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

  • Featuring and promoting ENERGY STAR prominently on webpages, marketing materials, and social media.
  • Surveying all new homebuyers about the importance of energy efficiency and ENERGY STAR certification.
  • Offering energy efficiency upgrade packages with advanced air sealing, heat pumps, and heat pump water heaters that go beyond ENERGY STAR program requirements.
  • Educating new homebuyers on the ENERGY STAR features of their homes, including high-performance heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.
