LBA Realty/LBA Logistics is a full-service real estate investment and management company. LBA has continued to leverage ENERGY STAR® tools and resources to engage with its internal teams to improve overall portfolio energy management and execute its decarbonization strategy. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

• Achieving ENERGY STAR certification for 24 properties.
• Supporting the ENERGY STAR Tenant Space recognition, including developing a new energy efficiency procurement policy, enhancing its green lease language, and achieving ENERGY STAR Tenant Space for one of its own offices.
• Leveraging ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager® to implement equipment upgrades and energy efficiency projects throughout its portfolio. For one of its properties in Dallas, Texas, these efforts resulted in an ENERGY STAR score increase from 7 to 40, a nearly 475% improvement in just 3 months.
• Improving its environmental, social, and governance action plan process to decarbonize its portfolio by offering energy audits to commercial and industrial customers to improve their energy performance, targeting properties with lower ENERGY STAR scores using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager.
• Launching its Be Responsible brand to emphasize environmental, social, and governance efforts. This campaign distinguishes environmental (Be Sensible), social (Be Mindful), and governance (Be Accountable) initiatives that prominently highlight its partnership with ENERGY STAR by promoting ENERGY STAR as a resource for monitoring and benchmarking building performance.
