• Reducing its customers’ annual electricity use by almost 4 billion kilowatt hours and approximately $500 million in energy cost savings through the sale of ENERGY STAR products.
• Elevating the use of ENERGY STAR in online advertising at the search engine level, which drives consumer awareness and adoption.
• Utilizing the ENERGY STAR Scope 3 tool to pinpoint GHG reduction opportunities and to quantify GHG reductions from the sale of ENERGY STAR products.
• Creating an improved filtering system that ensures online shoppers can select from the thousands of ENEGRY STAR products offered throughout homedepot.com.
• Participating in a retail session during the 2023 ENERGY STAR Partner Meeting which expanded attendees’ understanding of the big-box store’s role and involvement in Inflation Reduction Act rebates and tax credits for ENERGY STAR products.
