GDS Associates – Home Energy Ratings of New England, a home energy rating company, certified more than 900 homes as ENERGY STAR® in 2023, for a total of 14,000 since 2006. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

  • Conducting in-field training with project management, site supervisors, purchasing, sales, marketing, and subcontractor staff to identify new strategies to meet ENERGY STAR program requirements and maintain builder commitments to the program.
  • Utilizing the NHSaves Drive to ENERGY STAR Code Plus Initiative as a stepping stone to get builders accustomed to ENERGY STAR program requirements and provide a pathway toward partnership, resulting in 21 new ENERGY STAR builder partners joining the program in 2023.
  • Helping to increase ENERGY STAR market share in the region from 2% to 30% over the past 3 years.
  • Providing design drawings, specification reviews, and markups for architects and developers seeking ENERGY STAR certification.
  • Transitioning ENERGY STAR project data folders to a cloud-based system, enabling real-time communication between field and office staff.
