EnergyLogic, a home energy rating and applied building science company, certified more than 1,500 homes as ENERGY STAR® in 2023, for a total of over 40,000 since 2001. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

  • Providing technical support and training for home energy raters, program stakeholders, and other industry professionals to ensure consistent application of ENERGY STAR program requirements.
  • Enhancing its website with new statistics, value points, and an updated project portfolio page to better promote ENERGY STAR, Indoor airPLUS, and WaterSense, resulting in a 100% increase in web traffic to these pages.
  • Establishing an internal HVAC Design department and utilizing the team to align the completion of HVAC design reports with the energy modeling and rating of ENERGY STAR certified homes, streamlining the ENERGY STAR verification process.
  • Recruiting Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity to join the ENERGY STAR program, collaborating with them to develop a comprehensive insulation and air sealing package, and completing extensive modeling to help transition them to building all-electric homes.
