DTE Energy is an electric and natural gas utility serving southeast Michigan. Over the past year, the utility continued to implement a portfolio of efficiency programs and increased market share for ENERGY STAR® certified products and homes by promoting regional brand awareness. Key 2023 accomplishments include:

• Delivering more than 200,000 MWh of electricity savings and nearly 100,000 million cubic feet of natural gas savings across its ENERGY STAR certified homes and products programs.
• Supporting the construction of more than 200 ENERGY STAR certified homes and expanding builder participation by 6% since 2022.
• Promoting ENERGY STAR certified homes through a digital marketing campaign across multiple social media channels, resulting in more than 1.4 million impressions, an increase of 500,000 impressions compared with its 2022 campaign.
• Offering instant rebates on ENERGY STAR certified products at more than 700 retail locations, including 100 locations serving rural or low-income customers.
