Pentair plc is a pool pumps manufacturer. Since 2005, Pentair’s ENERGY STAR® certified pool pumps have been responsible for a cumulative 38.8 billion kWh of energy savings and unit sales represent 46% of all ENERGY STAR pool pumps sold. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Offering 17 ENERGY STAR certified pool pump models, which is a 55% increase in ENERGY STAR certified pool pumps available year-over-year.
- Helping customers save 894 million kWh of energy and $125.1 million in energy costs with its 2022 ENERGY STAR certified pool pumps sales.
- Acquiring Manitowoc Ice, a commercial ice maker that has a high market share of all ENERGY STAR ice machines sold.
- Training more than 90% of existing pool employees and 100% of new pool employees on Pentair’s ENERGY STAR certified products as well as 90% of distributors on the importance of ENERGY STAR and hosting workshops for more than 2,600 dealers across the country.
- Distributing, printing, and sharing content in catalogs, ads, and social media on importance of ENERGY STAR and showcasing the ENERGY STAR label in a multitude of outlets.
