ITW Food Equipment Group is a commercial food service equipment manufacturer. ITW increased ENERGY STAR® certified product offerings across its seven brands and trained 100% of its staff on ENERGY STAR, while also promoting the benefits of ENERGY STAR to its end users and distributors. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Expanding overall product offerings by 17% and achieving higher sales of ENERGY STAR certified equipment for every ITW brand compared to the previous year.
- Introducing new ENERGY STAR certified cooking equipment, including Vulcan fryers and combi ovens, and a Baxter single-rack oven.
- Participating in stakeholder dialogues for the ENERGY STAR Commercial Ovens 3.0 specification revision, helping EPA understand relevant data and their implications in terms of appropriate criteria levels.
- Incorporating ENERGY STAR information and product benefits into sales and training efforts internally, and for distributors and customers.
- Marketing ENERGY STAR widely through the development of press releases, blog posts, presentations, website content and social media content for over 50,000 followers.
