Ameren Missouri is an electric and natural gas generating company serving customers in central and eastern Missouri. Teaming with AM Conservation and Emersen Sensi, Ameren Missouri hosted a successful marketplace promotion featuring ENERGY STAR® certified smart thermostats that resulted in the sale of more than 11,000 smart thermostats, exceeding end-of-year goals. Key 2022 accomplishments include:
- Deploying an effective multi-media marketing strategy involving press, social media, promotional emails, and direct mail as well as partnering with community-based organizations to reach low-income audiences with the offer.
- Driving over 98,000 visits to the marketplace campaign site from June through October, averaging a conversion rate of 5.28%, and receiving over 5,180 orders.
- Achieving a 53.8 average Net Promoter Score for customer experience on the Online Store out of 331 survey responses; customers specifically responded to the survey with feedback such as “Satisfied with the Sensi smart touch thermostat” and “No fuss no muss. Placed my order and received just what I ordered in 2 days.”
