Quality and Value

Home professional with coupleHome Performance with ENERGY STAR connects you to your local program Sponsor. Your local program will put you in touch with participating contractors who are equipped with specialized training and diagnostic tools to determine how your home is performing.  They can identify problems that can lead to health and safety issues, and give you personalized recommendations for increasing your home's energy efficiency.

All local program Sponsors develop a quality assurance plan that is approved by the national program. These plans are designed to develop the highest caliber contractors and to double check that work was done accurately to the Home Performance with ENERGY STAR standard.
