Transformers
EPA suspended the ENERGY STAR Transformers specification effective May 1, 2007. In EPACT 2005, Congress passed a new minimum federal efficiency standard for transformers at the same level as the ENERGY STAR specification. All transformers manufactured on or after January 1, 2007 must meet these new criteria.
