Telephony Specification Version 3.0

The ENERGY STAR Telephony product specification is currently under revision. Materials related to this revision process are provided below. To be added to the contact list, stakeholders are encouraged to contact telephony@energystar.gov with their full contact information. This Web page will be updated periodically as new information is received.

External Power Supply Requirement Update — October 31, 2014

EPA has updated relevant ENERGY STAR electronics product specifications to reflect that the Single- and Multiple-voltage EPSs shall meet the Level V or higher performance requirements under the International Efficiency Marking Protocol.  This update does not affect currently certified products but rather allows products with a level VI EPS to be certified as ENERGY STAR.

Draft 1 Version 3.0 Telephony Webinar – July 9, 2013

EPA and DOE held a webinar to discuss the Draft 1 specification and Draft 3 test method on Tuesday, July 9. EPA is also releasing the Draft Version 3.0 Telephony Partner Commitments for stakeholder review. Stakeholders are invited to review these documents and submit comments via email to telephony@energystar.gov by Friday, July 19.
