Residential Dishwashers Specification Version 3.0

ENERGY STAR qualified dishwashers represent over 85 percent of the market. In order to maintain the integrity and value of the label, the Department of Energy will revise the existing ENERGY STAR criteria. The criteria were last updated January 1, 2001.

The 2007 ENERGY STAR criteria for dishwashers were released by the Department in March 2006 with an effective date of January 1, 2007.
