Pre-Rinse Spray Valves Specification Version 1.0

In 2009, the EPA’s WaterSense and ENERGY STAR Programs launched an effort to collaborate with ASME and ASTM in developing a performance and efficiency criteria that would inform a joint EPA specification for Pre-Rinse Spray Valves (PRSVs).  In 2012, EPA decided not to pursue joint requirements and instead, promote the EPA’s WaterSense PRSV specification once finalized.  For more information on the EPA WaterSense PRSV program, visit http://www.epa.gov/watersense.
