Large Network Equipment Specification Version 1.0
EPA is currently developing a new product specification for large network equipment. Manufacturers, Service Providers, and other interested parties who would like to participate in this process are encouraged to send their contact information to largenetwork@energystar.gov to be added to the distribution list for specification development updates. This Web page will be updated periodically as new information becomes available.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) welcomes your input on the below Draft 1 Version 1.0 ENERGY STAR® LNE specification, as well as the Draft 2 LNE Test Procedure developed by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Comments on these documents are due no later than August 29, 2014.
EPA is now assembling a dataset on the energy performance of Large Network Equipment from which to establish draft eligibility criteria for the Version 1.0 ENERGY STAR® Large Network Equipment (LNE) specification. EPA will consider data submitted to largenetwork@energystar.gov received by December 20, 2013 in development of eligibility criteria in future drafts. Below are files related to this effort:
