Integral LED Lamps Specification Version 1

The Integral LED Lamps specification was replaced by the Lamps Version 1.0 specification on September 30, 2014. Information on the lamps specification can be found on the lamps product development page.

The final ENERGY STAR Integral LED Lamp criteria were published on December 3, 2009 and went into effect on August 31, 2010.

EPA defined an integral LED lamp as an integrated assembly comprised of LED packages (components) or LED arrays (modules), LED driver, ANSI standard base and other optical, thermal, mechanical, and electrical components. The device is intended to connect directly to the branch circuit through a corresponding ANSI standard lamp-holder (socket) per IES RP-16-10.

Partners and other interested parties who would like to be added to the distribution list for specification development updates related to ENERGY STAR lamps are encouraged to send their contact information to lamps@energystar.gov. This Web page will be updated periodically as new information becomes available.
