EEPS ENERGY STAR Product Promotions 2024 and Beyond
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) prominently features energy efficiency program sponsors’ promotions and incentive offerings for ENERGY STAR certified products through a range of national ENERGY STAR consumer education and outreach efforts. These efforts drive customers the ENERGY STAR Rebate Finder and the newly launched ENERGY STAR Home Improvement Savings page, which highlights products included in ENERGY STAR Home Upgrade and the products that will be included in Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate Programs as part of the Inflation Reduction Act. The more accurate and relevant our information is, the better we can promote your program offerings to your customers and to retailers and manufacturers who may be interested in collaborating with you more closely. We appreciate your input and thank you for your continued support of ENERGY STAR!
A video version of the instructions below is available here. The video goes over:

Instructions
- Step 1: Open the spreadsheet titled "ENERGY STAR EEPS Products Promotion Data Collection 2024 and Beyond" and save it to your computer.
- Step 2: Filter by the State and/or Partner Name columns (C & E) to review the 2023 information listed for your programs, if applicable. Be sure to view all states your organization services. When filtering, ensure that “blanks” is always selected in order to add new rows.
- Step 3: Confirm or update all listed information as necessary. Incentives will appear on energystar.gov only when all errors noted in column A have been addressed. NOTE: If your organization delivers an incentive in multiple ways (e.g., online and in-store), please include a row for each method.
- Step 4: Be sure to check column B to indicate if the incentive is active; only incentives with a “Yes” will appears on the ENERGY STAR Rebate Finder! Do not delete rows; simply indicate “No” in column B.
- Step 5: Add information for any new and upcoming product promotions by clicking the cell in the top left-hand corner. Use available drop-down menus and remember to address all errors listed in column A.
- Step 6: Be sure to check column AA and ensure the appropriate website URL has been added. Please make sure that when updating the URL you are sending customers to the appropriate website related to the incentive type. For example, an incentive listing for a mail-in rebate should not link to an online marketplace or store.
- Step 7: Be sure to add or update the zip codes where you offer product promotions in the “Service Territory” tab; incentives without associated zip codes will not appear on the ENERGY STAR Rebate Finder!
- Step 8: Send your file as an attachment with program updates to eeaccountmanager@energystar.gov. Please contact your ENERGY STAR regional account manager with other questions or concerns.
