Displays Specification – Version 4.0

The Version 4.0 specification went into effect on January 1, 2005. A clarification to this specification’s labeling requirements was released on December 8, 2005, resulting in a new Version 4.1 specification. Industry Comments on Draft 1 ENERGY STAR Specification for Monitors, Version 4.0

Monitor manufacturers and other interested parties have been encouraged to submit written comments on the Draft 1 ENERGY STAR Specification for Monitors, Version 4.0. This feedback will assist EPA in revising the first draft of the new Version 4.0 specification for monitors. To date, EPA has been given permission to post the following comments, divided into the broad general categories of Monitor Labeling and Partnership Agreement Feedback, Monitor Test Method Feedback, and General Comments on Draft Specification. Please note that these do not comprise all of the comments received by EPA; only those EPA has received permission to post. If you would like to submit written comments on any aspect of the Draft Specification, you are still encouraged to do so.
