Clothes Dryers Specification Version 1.0
The ENERGY STAR Version 1.0 Specification for Clothes Dryers was finalized May 19, 2014 and will take effect on January 1, 2015. Clothes dryers may be labeled and promoted with the ENERGY STAR mark, in advance of the effective date, once they have been certified by an EPA recognized certification body.
