Audio/Video Specification Version 3

The Version 3.0 ENERGY STAR specification for Audio Video products has been finalized. Materials related to this revision process are provided below. Stakeholders who received past communications related to development of Version 2 will continue to receive updates on this development effort. Final Version 3.0 ENERGY STAR Audio Video Specification (Rev. Dec-2014) - December 3, 2014

EPA revised the specification to remove a reference to a previous version of the external power supply (EPS) test method in Table 6 “Test Methods for ENERGY STAR Qualification”. As stated in Section 3.2.1, EPSs shall be tested to the Uniform Test Method for Measuring the Energy Consumption of External Power Supplies in  Appendix Z to 10 CFR Part 430.

Final Version 3.0 ENERGY STAR Audio Video Specification - August 1, 2012

The Version 3.0 ENERGY STAR specification for Audio Video has been finalized and will take effect May 1, 2013. Manufacturers may elect to have their Certification Body (CB) certify their eligible products to the Version 3.0 requirements from now on.
