Throughout the month of October, ComEd’s Energy Force ambassadors will be encouraging customers to make a commitment to choosing ENERGY STAR certified LEDs. Energy Force is the country's first energy efficiency education program designed for and taught by people with disabilities. Customers who participate in this commitment will help seven Energy Force nonprofit organizations receive facility assessments and free energy-saving improvements.

Target and GE Lighting have partnered together to bring residents of the Chicago region ENERGY STAR certified LED lights. For each specially marked Target + GE branded 60W LED 2 pack light bulbs purchased at select Target stores from September 25, 2016 through January 31, 2017, Target will donate 1-60W LED 2 pack light bulbs (approximate retail value $9.99) to a local Chicagoland home building organization for families in need.
Actual item donated may differ from the item purchased and may be of equal or lesser value than the item purchased. Additionally, ComEd will be offering instant discounts on the purchase of these bulbs* for Target guests, making it even easier to give.
Through your in-store purchase of these specially marked packs, you can purchase a light for yourself and have another light bulb donated, enabling you to Brighten a Life with ENERGY STAR.
*ComEd instant discounts are available on select ENERGY STAR certified light bulbs throughout the year.
