The end to Daylight savings time is here, and that can mean many things for different people…an extra hour of sleep, less daylight when you get off from work, and perhaps most importantly, a greater dependence on your lighting as you return home to a dark house. While there is nothing we can do to put off the darker evenings ahead, we can do something about the energy we use to light our homes at night.
