Multifamily Review Organizations (MROs)

Multifamily Review Organizations (MROs) are EPA-recognized organizations that provide the required review and approval of project submissions for the ENERGY STAR Multifamily High Rise and ENERGY STAR Multifamily New Construction programs.

EPA has recognized the following organizations as Multifamily Review Organizations (MROs):

1 The Rater must be a certified rater, approved inspector, or an equivalent designation as determined by a Home Certification Organization (HCO) or MRO and has completed required training through an HCO-accredited training provider for the type(s) of homes that they will be certifying as ENERGY STAR.

2 Discuss the alternate credentials accepted by your MRO to determine if there are any limitations.
