Certified New Homes - Heating and Cooling System Fact Sheet
This two-page, consumer-focused fact sheet describes the complete heating, ventilating and cooling system (HVAC) that is installed in every ENERGY STAR certified home. This complete HVAC system is designed and installed to optimize performance, lower utility bills, keep you more comfortable, and provide better moisture control, better indoor air quality, and quieter operation. During design and construction, ENERGY STAR builder partners must meet all of the requirements of EPA’s comprehensive HVAC Quality Installation inspections and work with trained and credentialed HVAC professionals.
Complete Water Management System Fact Sheet - ENERGY STAR Certified New Homes
This two-page, consumer-focused fact sheet describes the comprehensive package of water management practices and materials that help to protect an ENERGY STAR certified home from water damage and reduce the risk of indoor air quality problems. During construction, ENERGY STAR builder partners must meet EPA’s comprehensive water management requirements to prevent rain and moisture from building up in living areas, attics, basements, crawlspaces, or behind walls.
ENERGY STAR Certified Homes - Better is Better Booklet
Use this 16-page, four-color, consumer-focused brochure to tell homebuyers about the features and benefits of purchasing and owning an ENERGY STAR certified new home. Order free copies or, if you are an ENERGY STAR partner, co-brand a trifold version of the brochure via your My ENERGY STAR Account (MESA).

Embed this video in your website and in model homes to show homebuyers why ENERGY STAR certified homes are built better. ENERGY STAR Marks
Partners may use the ENERGY STAR marks to promote their support of the ENERGY STAR program, ENERGY STAR certified homes, and their partnership with ENERGY STAR. And of course, to signify homes that have been ENERGY STAR certified. All marks must be used in compliance with the ENERGY STAR Brand Book and are only available for download via partners' My ENERGY STAR Account (MESA).
ENERGY STAR Residential Branch Marketing & Communications
Earlier this year, the ENERGY STAR Residential New Construction program launched a new look and feel for our marketing and outreach materials, along with a paid media campaign. This interactive U.S. map allows you to drill down to individual states to understand the market for site-built, single-family and multifamily ENERGY STAR certified homes and apartments compared to all housing completions as reported by the U.S. Census.
