This interactive U.S. map allows you to drill down to individual states to understand the market for site-built, single-family ENERGY STAR certified homes compared to all one-unit housing completions as reported by the U.S. Census. It also provides estimates for energy, utility bill, and CO2 emissions reductions from ENERGY STAR certified homes.

Overview of ENERGY STAR Multifamily New Construction

While ENERGY STAR certification for new construction multifamily buildings was previously allowed through the Certified Homes and MFHR programs, the ENERGY STAR Multifamily New Construction (MFNC) program is now required for any multifamily building with building permits on or after July 1, 2021.
