2005 National ENERGY STAR Appliance Partner Meeting

Description: Hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy and the New York State Energy Research Development Authority (NYSERDA), the 2005 Appliance Partner Meeting focused on current ENERGY STAR strategies, plans, and promotions for 2006, and updates from U.S. DOE on current efforts and future directions for the program.

U.S. DOE will provide attendees with an update on partner accomplishments in 2005, including a review of the “Spring into a World of Savings” ENERGY STAR Appliance Campaign, and will introduce potential strategies and initiatives for 2006. U.S. DOE will also provide an update concerning ENERGY STAR appliance criteria.

This session will provide partners with a forum to discuss current goals and priorities, identify challenges faced when promoting ENERGY STAR appliances, and examine the ways in which these barriers can be overcome.
