Oversight of OEM Performance

Beginning in 2013, heightened oversight was introduced that required CFL partners undergo additional verification testing of models supplied by the same OEM as a component of their product control measures. In addition, product control measures for these partners were required to include documentation of improved quality control measures for their OEM's product manufacturing. After initiation of the EPA enhanced compliance oversight efforts, the overall CFL program disqualification rate decreased meaningfully.
