APS, together with one of the largest emergency response charities in the country,  will be walking door-to-door in Sun City and Buckeye to test residents smoke alarms and install new detectors if current ones are not up to code at no charge. On average, seven people die every day as a result of home fires, and 36 are injured, so this is a great opportunity for Sun City residents to ensure their homes are safe.
