Our Louisiana Partners
On October 23 and 24, Sears is partnering with a national nonprofit that has been working for more than 40 years to transform the lives of low-income homeowners by improving the safety and health of their homes and revitalizing communities. They will bring together Sears volunteers for a two-day rebuild to give the Hollygrove-Dixon neighborhood of New Orleans critical repairs. Volunteers will provide transformative home repairs, energy efficiency updates, and install new and much needed appliances to three neighborhood homes. Volunteers will also expand their reach to the surrounding neighborhood providing necessary lighting upgrades for additional homeowners during the days of service. Special thanks goes to those companies who have donated product and/or funding to support this project: Kenmore, LG, Sears Home Services, Sears Supply Chain, Philips, CREE, GE Lighting, Blackhawk Engagement Solutions, and Enervee.
