Treasure chest with gold coinsCongratulations on finding energy treasure!

The most important next step after conducting a treasure hunt is maintaining momentum to ensure that measures, projects, and other actions are implemented. Here are some tips:

1. Create an action plan
Develop a simple plan to track the implementation of the energy savings measures identified during the treasure hunt.  Assign responsibility for tracking implementation to different treasure hunt team members.

2.  Hold huddle meetings
Schedule short meeting bi-weekly or monthly to check on the status of implementation and discuss any barriers or issues that teams are facing.

3.  Add your results to the ENERGY STAR Treasure Chest
Gain recognition from ENERGY STAR for your efforts by sharing the results of your treasure hunt.

4.  Take the ENERGY STAR Challenge for Industry
For industrial sites, sign up for ENERGY STAR Challenge for Industry to help keep the plant focused on improving energy performance.  Learn more at www.energystar.gov/industrychallenge.
