Built in 2007, the Crawford Building is a five-story, Class A commercial office building located in the thriving Ballantyne area just south of downtown Charlotte, North Carolina.  The Crawford Building is just one of many buildings located in Ballantyne Corporate Park, which was recently awarded the International Office Park of the Year by the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) International.  Ballantyne Corporate Park is a 535-acre, master-planned, first-class business community, consisting of over 3.5 million square feet of commercial office space, nearly 600 hotel rooms, and numerous, medical, retail, and recreational amenities. 

The facility's management maximizes building energy performance through the use of high efficiency T-8 lamps with electronic ballasts in addition to a Building Automation System (BAS) for building control.


Building managers broadcast efficiency-related information on digital displays featured in most building lobbies and provide additional information at, which is devoted to tenants of Ballantyne Corporate Park. The annual Earth Day event provides an opportunity for tenants and members of the community to learn about energy conservation.
