32255 Northwestern Highway
Farmington Hills, MI 48334
Tri Atria was constructed in 1986 and renovated in 1997. The two-story, 236,000 square foot building is clad in reflective glass with polished chrome accents and features three, two-story marble and glass atriums.
The building's location within Metropolitan Detroit is in a thriving business corridor connecting the commercial centers of Farmington Hills and Southfield. Tri Atria has been a landmark office building in the area and has maintained superlative curb appeal with landscape and building improvements that characterize the quality of a Class A office environment.
Energy efficiency and comfort within the building are established by an extensive preventative maintenance program, an energy management system and a variable air volume (VAV) structure zoned for every 1,000 square feet. Tenant satisfaction and Energy Star labeling (2005 and 2006) accomplishments are achieved through continuous resourceful upgrades by means of controlling interior and exterior lights by a building automation system (BAS) and sensors; limiting the operation of the buildings heating and cooling equipment; upgrading new construction with LED exit signs, electronic ballasts and 'green' fluorescent bulbs; conducting infrared tests; installing water controlled auto-faucets; implementing recycling programs for paper, batteries and bulbs; re-tubing original boilers; and insulating hot water pipes.
Tri Atria earned the ENERGY STAR label in 2005 and 2006.
