Situated at 6550 and 6560 South Greenwood Plaza Boulevard, Greenwood Plaza One and Two (GWP) is located in unincorporated Arapahoe County, adjacent to Greenwood Village, and at the southwest edge of the more than 3,900-acre Denver Technological Center within the Denver metropolitan area.

Architecturally distinctive and unique, this facility is sited within a landscaped setting and distinguished by the five-story glass atrium with its five distinctive structural ship-mast protrusions through its ceiling. The atrium joins the side-by-side buildings together and provides a common area, allowing exclusive individual entrances for each address. Tenant parking is accommodated at the adjoining free-standing, four-level garage which boasts three security card-controlled entrances/exits for easy access. This ten-year-old complex is conveniently located a short walking distance from the I-25 corridor and the metropolitan area's Light Rail system.

Greenwood Plaza?s ownership and management are proudly striving for continued excellence and value through ENERGY STAR and LEED certification. GWP earned the ENERGY STAR in 2008, 2009 and 2010. In 2009, Greenwood Plaza proudly earned LEED Gold certification.

In the quest for green operation, GWP has experienced a broad range of operational, mechanical, and electrical changes. Instituted in 2009, the property has an on-going recycling program for broken and outdated electronic items from tenants. Through its janitorial services, the building utilizes only all green cleaning items and a trash recycling program monitored and reported through the building?s trash recycling contractor.

Each of the building's rooftop HVAC units has been fully equipped with Variable Frequency Drives. Sub-meters have been added for monitoring tenant electrical usage and property irrigation. The security card system has been replaced and updated for tenant suite-level security and garage access security. The garage has undergone a complete lighting retrofit, going from 140 metal halide fixtures to sealed T-8 fluorescent fixtures for both reliability and economy of operation. Perimeter fixtures in the open-sided garage have individual photo cell operation to take advantage of bright daylight.

Plumbing changes include Denver Water-approved Flushometer Bowl and Valve combination lavatories and urinals within all eighteen restrooms. Also, new automatic soap dispensers and low-flow automatic spigots were retrofitted to the sinks and automatic Enmotion towel dispensers and coreless toilet paper were implemented.
