Hines Two Renaissance Square LP
40 N Central Ave Suite 200
Phoenix, AZ 85004
Owned and managed by Hines, Two Renaissance Square is one of the two towers comprising Renaissance Square, an office complex in the heart of the Phoenix Central Business District. Designed by PGAL and Emery, Roth & Sons and completed in 1989, Two Renaissance Square is 29 stories tall and totals approximately 473,392 square feet. The building is clad in red granite and black reflective glass; a sophisticated arrangement of polygonal forms helps to make it and its neighboring tower distinctive parts of the Phoenix skyline. The two towers are connected by an elevated skybridge, and through a shared ground-floor atrium lobby.
Two Renaissance Square earned the ENERGY STAR for superior energy performance through an energy-efficient original design, retrofits to building infrastructure and an active commitment to energy-saving management best practices. Design features of particular note, given the scorching heat of summers in Phoenix, include high-efficiency reflective insulated glass and plate and frame heat exchangers in the HVAC system. The latter provides excellent performance in cooling the chiller water, even when outside temperatures soar into the triple digits.
Hines has been recognized with multiple ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence and Partner of the Year awards. For a summary of the firm's participation in the ENERGY STAR program and other sustainability information, visit www.hines.com/sustainability.
