Galleria Financial Center consists of two 7-story, Class A office building sections that are linked by a full-height enclosed atrium. The east tower has an address of 5065 Westheimer and the west tower has the address 5075 Westheimer.  The bulding was part of the Galleria II expansion of the world-famous, upscale Galleria retail complex in the Houston Galleria submarket. It is located  one block west of the West 610 Loop and Westheimer Road intersection.

The building is located atop the Galleria II mall occupying levels 6-12. The elevator bank walls, exposed to the 12-story atrium, are clad in white travertine marble. The bridge walkways connecting the towers with vertical transportation are finished with polished black marble and carpet.


Galleria Financial Center features many amenities to tenants and their visitors. Direct elevator access to the Galleria mall allows tenants to enjoy over 30 restaurants, 300 retail stores, two quality Starwood hotels, covered parking, and even ice skating.
Other aspects of Galleria Financial Center include 24-hour on-site security guards; a controlled access system that features card readers at entrances, lobby doors, and elevators; and on-site property management.


In 2008, Galleria Financial Center earned the ENERGY STAR by achieving a 75 baseline energy performance score in Portfolio Manager. This score was accomplished through various low-cost practices and regular preventative maintenance programs on building equipment.


To reduce consumption, the building is equipped with occupancy sensors in all common areas and tenant offices, and incandescent bulbs in exit signs were replaced with LED lights. Lighting upgrades were completed during tenant and building construction, resulting in the current T8 standard for lighting.
