Constructed in 1980, 50 Milk Street is a 21-story Class A office building that features a street level lobby, the Milk Street Cafe as a food service provider, and a secure parking garage containing 101 spaces on three above ground levels for our tenants.  The building presents its tenancy with 17 floors of office space with views of Beacon Hill, the Charles River, the Back Bay and Post Office Square.

is a premier office building strategically located in the Boston CBD at the northwest corner of Milk and Devonshire street, and is at the heart of Boston's Financial District, one block from Post Office Square Park.  50 Milk is a short walk to many downtown landmarks and attractions including Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Downtown Crossing, Government Center, Beacon Hill, Boston Common and the Public Garden.

The attainment of the ENERGY STAR certification for 50 Milk Street is due to the operational efforts of buiding ownership, management, and that of our tenants towards implementing many cost savings and energy reducing equiptment and technology thoughout the facility.  The building utilizes many energy efficient measures, which include: Retrofit lighting to electronic ballast, T8 light bulbs and motion sensors throughout common areas, bathrooms, mechanical rooms, and the parking garage; premium efficiency motors and high efficiency centrifugal chilled water system that is equipped with variable frequency drives (VFD) on the chiller.  In addition, variable frequency drives have also been installed on the domestic water booster pumps.  Constant volume air handling units utilizing premium efficiency motors with a state-of-the-art energy management system are utilized with the energy efficient air distribution system.  The elevator modernization project also installed VFDs on high-efficiency motors.
