LINDEN HILL ES
3415 Skyline Dr.
Wlimington, DE 19808
The district invested 4.5 million dollars in renovations for Linden Hill. Three major project areas were targeted: 1) the installation of an air-conditioning system and upgrades to heating and ventilation systems; 2) construction of new classrooms and a more spacious and modern library; and 3) electrical repairs, lighting replacement, fire alarm installation, and necessary upgrades to rest rooms.
ENERGY STAR Guidelines for Energy Management were followed throughout the design and procurement of these major capital projects. As a result, the school earned the ENERGY STAR in 2008 for superior energy efficiency. Data compiled through Portfolio Manager help school officials ensure that these improvements maximize the use of their energy resources.
On behalf of the entire Linden Hill Community and the Red Clay Consolidated School District, I would like to thank ENERGY STAR of this recognition. If we all do our small part -- collectively, we can make a big difference!
