As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and EPA's ENERGY STAR program, Highwoods Properties is committed to reducing the consumption of valuable natural resources in all of our operations. We are focused on developing and operating more energy-efficient buildings throughout our portfolio and, when warranted, applying for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification and the ENERGY STAR label.
