As part of their energy management initiative, Jurys Boston Hotel underwent a series of technological improvements that helped reduce its energy consumption/expenditures dramatically (see right panel). Of particular note were their lighting and laundry system upgrades, which will pay for themselves within three years, and help significantly reduce the hotel's environmental impact.

To communicate their successes internally, Jurys Boston Hotel has created an Energy Management Plan as well as an Energy Awareness Board within their Boston Facility and energy is reviewed at morning meetings and weekly leadership team meetings.
