The energy management team has made improvements such as programmable thermostats, LED exit lighting, and upgrading to T-8 lamps. Boonville Elementary received a score of 94, well above average, to earn the ENERGY STAR for superior energy performance the first time it measured its energy use in Portfolio Manager, EPA's online energy management tool.
