The Watertown School District in cooperation with Johnson Controls, Company turned a poor performing building into one of the most energy efficient buildings in the District. Along with the energy efficiency, the maintenance on the building's HVAC system went from a daily problem during the winter to nearly maintenance free equipment. The biggest challenge involved converting the roof top units to a boiler system. New controls and lighting improvements were also included in the renovation. The energy and operational savings continue to exceed the projected payback.
