Communications:
Outreach to employees is performed with posters, and employee recognition awards as well as our newsletter. Earth Day / Energy Awareness Days are celebrated at each campus in a variety of ways. For example, this year our department is co-hosting a Ride Your Bike To Work day in cooperation with food/nutrition and our bike patrol security group. We will have a booth with a kiosk to sign the EPA Change A Light pledge as well as distribute materials on saving energy at home.
Communication to management takes place continually through powerpoint presentations && reports to ensure successes are known and recognition is given. Meetings attended include the bi-monthly Presidents meeting and the monthly Engineering staff meeting.
Community outreach on our energy conservation efforts is made through our media relations office and also our community events (Energy Awareness Day, Earth Day).
