The Hubert Company is located in Harrison, Ohio. Our facility is comprised of 498,500 square feet of warehouse and 81,500 square feet of office, including a lunch room and a mail room. In March of 2012 we implemented a 3840 solar panel installation on our warehouse roof that now provides 31% of our electricity needs. This installation produces 1,252,996 kilowatt-hours of clean energy and reduced our carbon emissions by 899 tons in its first full year of operation. In addition, our switch to Orion 416HPM-277 T8 and Phillips EnduraLED PAR30 lighting has reduced electric consumption for lighting while increasing illumination. We have installed aerators and new flush valves to our faucets and urinals to reduce water consumption. The positive outcome for Hubert is that energy consumption and energy costs can be reduced while improving employee working conditions.
