Located on the shores of Lake Michigan, the Aurora Medical Campus is a state-of-the-art facility consisting of just under 300,000 square feet of combined medical center and clinical space. Building management strives to run its facilities as efficiently as possible while providing a caring, comforting atmosphere to patients. Major energy-saving projects have included adding a summer reheat boiler, installing a new Siemens Building Automation system, and implementing extensive LED light harvesting and fixture upgrades. Additionally, the staff meets on a regular basis to review past and plan for new projects to further improve energy performance.
