Point O?View Elementary School, home of the Panthers, was constructed in 1969 and encompasses approximately 75,000 square feet of space. The school?s philosophy is to provide a changing, up-to-date curriculum that will challenge, stimulate, and meet the present needs of each student. Point O' View Elementary strives to be a cooperative enterprise between home and community, based on the interests and needs of all students. Students are taught to live and learn in a democratic society in which they can understand themselves and others. The school serves approximately 530 students and 80 staff members. To improve energy efficiency, the school was part of a performance contracting effort, partnering with Noresco to retrofit lighting throughout the building.
