100 Executive Boulevard is one of three office buildings in a 22 acre office park in Southington, Connecticut.  The 4-story, 71,000 sq. ft. building was constructed in 1980 and has a maximum occupancy of 590 people.  All three buildings on the Southington campus support the Affinity Personal Lines segment of the property and casualty (P&C) division. 100 Executive Boulevard houses the personal lines (PL) segment and is used primarily as a call center. 

The building was renovated in 1993.  This included overhaul of most of the HVAC equipment. The rooftop units and split system air conditioning units were replaced again in 2003.  All of them are equipped with enthalpy control economizers.

An energy audit was performed in 2004.  Recommendations included:

• Shutting down exhaust fans that were no longer needed;
• Reducing operating hours on most HVAC equipment;
• Insulating hot water heaters;
• Installing demand ventilation on rooftop units; and
• Installing Vendingmiser on all vending machines.
